Called the emergency number tonight for my cat who had trouble breathing. Unfortunately, he died. What's the point in having an emergency number if you're not going to use it?!

Dr. Potorti and his staff are absolutely amazing! We adopted our first pet in 2002 and have trusted Big Valley Animal Hospital from day 1! I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is! In fact, when we moved out of the area in 2005, we continued to visit Dr. Potorti with all of our veterinary needs. The 40-minute drive isn't enough to keep us away!
Would like to once again thank Dr. Alex!!!!! He is great. Saved my boy Scout's life. He is still with me and doing great thanks to his amazing care. Highly recommend him to everyone!!!! Thank you
We had our Rebel Gray-Blue Heeler in for emergency porcupine removal during the night a while back, and We just had our Tillie Mae-Red Heeler in for emergency surgery and Dr. P. and his staff did an excellent job with both of them. would recommend them to others. Very kind and caring people.
You will not find a better staff than at Big Valley! It is much more than a "job" to them....they treat every animal that comes into their office with so much compassion! Always greeted with a smile! I always appreciate talking with the staff and they are very thorough when explaining anything, and always receive a follow up call on their "patient". Great job Big Valley Animal Hospital!
Absolutely love Dr. P & the girls, he "always" takes the time to explain & answer my million & one questions in terms I can relate, and always puts my mind at ease and at times I'm sure it's a hard job for him knowing how I am with my fur babies, wouldn't go anywhere else
