About this business
The entire bar and restaurant is designed in dark, elegant wood with very stylish and comfortable furniture, chairs and booths--even the requisite fireplace--giving it a private club-like feeling. Beautiful multi-hued granite is used for the table tops and the bar, highlighting the overall design. The owner, Brett Anderson, (a lawyer, but we won't hold that against him) has done an excellent job of designing and furnishing the restaurant and has obviously spared no expense. The food was excellent! My husband enjoyed his 12 oz bone in pork chop and I liked the tenderloin tips Dubois (sp?) with the rice. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be going back. I want to try the crime brulei next time.
The prime rib was excellent and the cheesy corn was amazing. Service was good and price isn't outrageous. I'd come back again if I'm ever back in Altoona, IA!
Best surf & turf around, especially considering they are also very reasonable. Professional staff and great atmosphere
Simply the best! From seating to departure everything was perfect and our server, Luke, was the best as well. Stopped in the bar to wait a couple minutes and the bartender was fun and personable. The place is awesome.
