I called for an estimate for full house replacement of old galvanized pipe. If all the people in this company are as polite, professional and personable as Alex, the technician sent out to provide the quote, I will definitely use them for my plumbing needs. He certainly took the time to explain to me ALL the scope of work they will perform, and I really appreciated his taking the time to answer all my questions. Called for work to be done, paid the service call fee of $49.95. Got an estimate of how much the work would cost. I requested the estimate to be broken down for parts and labor. Received a call back in less than 5 mins saying that they were not going to be doing the job now. Called to complain to customer service, was told that they didn't want to fix it and it not be what is wrong with it. Then exactly what was I going to pay you $600 for? What a waste of my time! Had 2 plumbers come to my mom's house after it flooded. Rick was the first plumber to come out. He was nice and very professional. No complaints there. He did what he could and then he scheduled a hydrostatic test for a couple of days later. Big State sent out a different plumber (younger guy, he was nice) my complaint about this young gentleman is we explained the issue that this is an insurance matter and that everything financial has be go through them. With no exaggeration, I can tell you that we had a great experience with Big State Plumbing. The office staff are friendly & helpful. Rick was the plumber that came out. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, fixed our issues and was a very tidy worker. I told him I would mark my calendar with the word HAPPINESS after our experience. We really appreciate the entire team at Big State Plumbing. I will recommend them on a residential & commercial level to friends or family.
The worst plumbers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. You have been warned.
