Went for St. Patrick's day. Was packed when we got there but got a table right away. The service was great, the music was awesome. Planning on going back next year.!!!
I've had several people tell me about the poor service and I just don't get it. We (family of 6) eat here all the time. Love their food, love their beer selection, love their specialty drink menu, great atmosphere and 99.9% of the time get great service! The only time I can remember a bad night was when they were slammed and short staffed. It happens.....no restaurant is perfect but this one is petty darn good. Monday's are great for families as kids eat free!!
I have never been one to write a review, but after last weekend's visit I felt someone had to know! Midland is my hometown as well as the friend I was visiting with. When we decided to book a hotel we chose the Holiday Inn because we like Big E's so much. We have always had a fun time and received great service over the years. Horrible service. My wife and I sat at the bar for nearly 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. I would understand if it was was busy, but in this case it definitely was not. We won't be going out of our way to return anytime soon.
Extremely busy night and the service was still awesome. Fun place.
So very disappointed!! Went for the Crawfish boil that was advertised for weeks only to find out they ran out in the first hour. Not only did they have reservations up until 8pm but they stuck some poor girl at the door to tell everyone instead of having a manager out there apologizing. This is just unacceptable. Since they don't seem to care about their customers I don't care to spend my money with them. We will never go there again!

Love Aaron is is the best!!!! He is always on top of it, that's for sure! I was sadden last night when his section was full! :(
