This place was recommended by our tour director and it was awesome. Food was great. One of our friends has a food allergy and Jeff made a special sauce just for her. Our waitress was exceptional. If you're in Fairbanks, I highly recommend Big Daddy's.
Great Southern BBQ Brisket was great
Terrible overall experience. We waiting 10 minutes to be seated. Then after 26 minutes we didn’t even have water or utensils brought to our table so we had to go ask for it. Our food came moments after we got our drinks. The food was disgusting. Pulled pork served on a plain bun- nothing else. Sides are an additional cost. Everything on the baby back platter was awful. Save you money!
Do yourself a favor and get this food at a catering event. We came here because I’ve had their food at an event and it was good. But that seems to be the only time they can actually have what you want. They are out of everything and it’s 7pm on a weekend. I don’t understand how you can be out of Texas toast.... On top of that, it took 10 minutes just to get someone to seat us. And our waiter came back 30 minutes after we ordered and told us they were out of our appetizer. Being from Eastern N C I grew up knowing and eating bbq. Not nearly as good but not bad. Chicken was dry, very dry. Sauces were good, service good too.
If I had money I would fly back to Fairbanks just for this bbq.
