If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! The food is like nothing else in Boise. Gigantic portions, made from scratch! The owner is always there helping out and getting her hands dirty, I love it. Big City is always our first choice.

I really enjoyed the steamed eggs with feta and spinach--a nice flair to eggs. The portion sizes are great and really love the fresh fruit on the side. I wasn't a fan of the drip coffee but enjoyed my meal. I've heard the cinnamon rolls are to die for! Can't wait to try them. Service was speedy but it's definitely a different way of ordering at a restaurant. Not bad, just a little confusing as a first time diner. I will be back! �

I went to Big City in late March of 2015. I had some free coffee cards, discounted coupons, and no other options. The person behind the register seemed annoyed to have to talk to customers. The ambiance was deafening. The coffee wasn't good even for free coffee. I'm vegan so I didn't get to eat anything (if someone can't remove the cheese or other undesirable ingredients from a breakfast sando, it's usually because its pre-made).
