What a disapointing experience I had today. I ordered a burger online and a shake. When I tasted my shake, I simply stated that it tasted funny, a bit like sour milk. No one apologized, and a gentleman came out from the back and tasted the milk and said it was fine. The milk was dated to expire today and said they added softner to the ice cream maker so that shouldn't be it. Seriously, don't make it out that it's the customer's fault. I have worked in Capitol Square for four years now and I have seen big city make several changes. It went from amazing to mediocre. I have bought a couple Groupon’s for big city I got a chicken sandwich for one of them. The chicken sandwich cost eight dollars the amount of chicken on the sandwich was probably the third of a chicken breast. I feel like big city is cutting corners to make a profit but you’re also having extreme prices for what you get, hardly any chicken at all. Great food but the service was awful. One woman was waiting in the dining room for 20 minutes while we waited to pick up our takeout orders, and she was STILL waiting when we left.

We understand that waiting for the food can be a bit time consuming because we are making it as fresh as we can. We loved our bacon cheeseburgers and shakes. My kids liked the fries, I thought they were a little soggy and not fresh, but I like the style of fries they make so I know they'd be great fresh. The staff was excellent and patient while we customized each burger. He gave my boys mayo on the side for theirs. Our food came out fast and we enjoyed the visit.
