Learn the laws and stop making up your own rules in regards to the ada and service dogs. Discrimination is wrong
Blatantly breaking ADA laws by forcing a service dog and handler out of the lobby. Your store policy does not trump FEDERAL law, it’s discrimination and illegal.
Please learn the law in regards to service animals. A tattoo parlor is not a sterile environment. Discriminating against potential customers is not a good idea. Service dog handlers have to constantly fight for their rights and it is absolutely exhausting to have to constantly stand up for the thing keeping you alive.
Big Brain discriminates against illegally against service dog handlers. A tattoo parlor is not sterile and may not turn away service animal handlers under state and federal laws. They are attempting to claim that they can deny service dogs under the clause of the ADA that they can be excluded if they pose a direct threat to the health of safety of others. Service Dogs are legally required to be permitted in your shop anywhere the general public is allowed. That includes the tattoo and piercing areas. The only place you can restrict is your autoclave room which is required to be separated from the rest of the facility. If you use disposable needles and equipment then there are no restrictions to where a Service Dog can go. Instead of apologizing for your staff messing up the owner doubled down. I got my first tattoo from here last Sunday from Jared Potter and my daughter has gotten 2 tattoos from him also. He does amazing work I won’t go anywhere else to get tattoos or get them from anybody else but him. Great job on our tats Jared. All the staff there make u feel welcomed and it’s and really clean and fun environment to be in.
Shout out to big brain tattoo, Nick is my artist and he always does amazing work. Thank you so much, won’t ever go anywhere else.
