Big Bob Gibsons BBQ , is one of the very best. We live in Cullman and will drive 45 miles to eat at one of the all time best award winning BBQ restraunts. They have all the best sides to go with your choice of smoked meats. *****
My husband and I were in Hartselle last night and all the BBQ restaurants were closed. We decided to drive to Decatur and eat at Bob Gibson BBQ. I'm so glad we did it was well worth it! He had the stuffed potato with beef brisket and I had the salad with beef brisket. Our potato and salad was huge and loaded with meat! The beef brisket was absolutely melt in your mouth! We had great service too! We will definitely be back! The other local BBQ places don't compare!

We love this place. This was the first time we had a problem with the host setting us. He smacked his gum and chewed it with his mouth open...very disgusting.
This is the 3rdtime there. Without the sauce it had no taste. Pork was lukewarm as was the my baked beans, wife's chicken was lukewarm and again no flavor without lots of sauce, her green beans were hot but barely had flavor. Next time I'll stop at the Hickory Stick on the way out of town.
Very very great food. Will be going back. Service and customer service was excellent
The BBQ lives up to the multiple award trophies and headlines scattered about. Our "must stop" on the way to FL.
Awesome food and great service. Love this place, and eat here any time I'm near Decatur.
