Friendliest staff I ever saw, on top of the several different activities you can enjoy. The ole mare that was there is awful gentle for ones who haven’t rode or have little experience riding. You can take golf cart rides there if you please as well. It’s close to many attractions in Cody, namely the rodeo.
I always stay at Big Bear! they are the best.

We booked two rooms at Big Bear Motel for a one-night stay en-route to Yellowstone and arrived quite late, around 10:30PM. The owner was there to greet us and give us our keys. The rooms were clean and welcoming; the rates were reasonable and we enjoyed our stay so much that we circled back and stayed with them again 2 night later and once again,welcoming and very clean. Would we stay here again? You bet - We would go out of our way to stay here.

We arrived at Big Bear Motel at 10:30 PM on a Wednesday evening. They do wait up for you when you have a reservation. The staff is friendly and the room was very clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
