The Big Bean™ has been serving the Severna Park neighborhood since January 2000. They are a small, but friendly coffee store- espresso bar . You can enter the store from the B& A Trail out our back door ( mile marker 5.0 ) or come in the front door at 558 B & A Blvd. Either way, you will enjoy the friendly staff, outstanding coffee and an assortment of delicious gourmet treats. And . . there is seasonal outdoor seating on the Trail!

Big Bean is my go to stop along the B and A trail. The folks are always wonderful as is their coffee!
Typically pass this shop while running on the B&A trail and have never been although my mother has been a few times and enjoys their coffee. While standing in line at the back of the store they have a small service window there and a woman WITH NO MASK was ordering a beverage. My mother and I also did not have masks on and there was no signage signifying you had to have one standing outside. The woman finishes her order and we are next in line and my mother is told she cant order a beverage unless she has a mask on...as I co... read more
I LOVE getting a latte and breakfast cookie or bagel at The Big Bean, and have missed going there terribly during this pandemic. Everyone is so friendly, and it’s a VERY welcoming environment. I also just tried their cold brew and it is the BEST I’ve ever had. It’s so smooth and delicious, you can drink it black even if you normally wouldn’t. I miss you guys and am looking forward to seeing you in house again!
