The Big Bean™ has been serving the Severna Park neighborhood since January 2000. They are a small, but friendly coffee store- espresso bar . You can enter the store from the B& A Trail out our back door ( mile marker 5.0 ) or come in the front door at 558 B & A Blvd. Either way, you will enjoy the friendly staff, outstanding coffee and an assortment of delicious gourmet treats. And . . there is seasonal outdoor seating on the Trail!

The staff is friendly and their selection of flavored coffee is legit. Also, they're the only local place that I know of that serves bulletproof coffee for those of us who are ketogenic.
The Big Bean provided a much needed half way respite and caffeine replenishment on the B-A trail yesterday.
Great local Severna Park coffee shop! We are opening a martial art school (Kogen Dojo) across the street in Severna Park Village Center and we are very happy to be able to frequent this The Big Bean for all of our espresso needs!
Fun, convenient, excellent coffee! They also have some yummy & unusual treats if you're into that ;-)

The Big Bean is like a 2nd home! The staff is wonderful and their coffee is the best around!! It is the atmosphere and welcoming vibe that complete the experience. Glad you are in my hood!
