Company repeatedly sends us misleading marketing materials in the guise of a "past due" notice associated with its optional protection plan. If this practice is not illegal, it should be. I can only imagine how many people fall for this and write a check for a service they don't want in the false belief that they have previously signed up for it.
have been constantly sent letters stating i have an account with them and owe them money, i do not have an account with them and have called and told them the same, been called a liar, this has gone on for about a year. will have to take legal action against this company if this continues. mary f****
We had a fantastic experience with Travis ****** Senior Service Technician when he recently came to our house for the yearly ac/heating inspection/diagnosis. He was thorough, professional, helpful, friendly, plus he even verified that we understood all that he'd accomplished. Way to go!
Owed me a $700 plus credit since May, keep telling me it's on the way. Fat change.
I own several rental properties and have had BGE Home for years. With their HVAC service contracts service has always been within 24 hours and repairs professionally accomplished. I have had no bad experiences with them at all.
******************** RIP off company or third party with BGE Home. Dont sign up with them. I fell for it cancelled it immediately. When I called I got hung up on then I called back, talk to someone else that did give me a confirmation to cancel. BUT BE AWARE!!!!!!!
I made an appointment weeks before the scheduled service call. I was given a 4 hour window, noon to 4PM. At 3:45PM a customer disservice representative called and asked if she could reschedule me for another day. I said NO, I had waited all afternoon for the technician. She mumbled something about medically dependent and senior citizens come first. I though....WHAT?? I told her I was 75 and a senior citizen. She said she didn't know that and hung up! I am giving BGE HOME 0 "ZERO" stars, but my review would not be processed without my leaving a star, SO REMEMBER THIS STAR IS BEING FORCED UPON ME....0 ZERO 0 ZERO STARS. DO NOT GET THE BGE Warranty. They do not stand behind their 24 hour, 7 day emergency service. We were without heat as of Saturday, January 12 and was only able to get a technician out today Monday, January 14. We had a brand new system installed just less than five years ago. Calls to speak with a supervisor have gone unfulfilled. This company will also bill you months on end for the warranty contract. You pay them and they send your supposedly overdue bill to BGE (the electricity supplier). BGE will NOT remove the bill from... read more
