Beven & Brock does its job, client does not! – An ex-client and condo-owner came to this site to complain that we at Beven & Brock would not contact his or her HOA, presumably to resolve some maintenance related issue involving the HOA and his or her unit and tenant. We cannot, and should not have any contact with the owner?s HOA. We did not pick the HOA. We do not pay dues to the HOA. We receive no service from the HOA. Appalling Experience - As a Property Owner – Many of the complaints against Beven and Brock were from tenants. I thought it appropriate to describe my experience as a property owner. Is it a really certified management company? – when I saw the previous comment, I really want to share my personal one. I believe B & B is good if you never get any trouble. However, once you experienced. Nightmare started. I think if I don't have a manager in an apartment. The service is better. I asked to move out before the water leaking that they said it can't be fix. Whenever have problem, I have to wait for the manager reply at least for two days. This made the situation worst. Excellent Recommendations for this company – I've lived in Pasadena over 20 years and have known many people who lived in Beven and Brock rentals, and I've yet to hear a complaint about their property mgmt. service. What I do hear is that their maintenance is fast, it's very easy to find and see a vacant unit, their office is open 7 days/week, and the staff are helpful. Terrible service. – Beven & Brock was the worse property management company I have ever dealt with. Their employees are horrible. I wish I combed the internet on customer reviews before I ever agreed to become a tenant, so many bad reviews, I'm surprised they're still in business. The founders need to give their employees a serious reality check... or fire them! The managers are so rude and inconsiderate towards their tenants. Very poor communication – After phoning them to get more information about a property they were managing, I drove 90 minutes to pick up the keys. Upon arriving I was told the property had already been rented. When I queried them as to when, I was informed it had been let the day prior. An extraordinary waste of my time not to mention a total lack of respect. Be certain you determine if the property in which you are interested has a contract on it or a pending application before driving to their office.

Horrible customer service – My husband recently went in to get the keys to look at a townhouse they are representing in Pasadena. The lady was nice and even though my husband explained to her that he had one thing that went into collection years ago by accident, she encouraged him to fill out the application. We went to look at that property and LOVED it. Poor service and response from Beven & Brock Property Management – My roommate and I were looking to rent a condo managed by Beven & Brock. During the viewing of the property, the manager on site informed us that the place was very much available and gave us the impression she was very interested in having us as tenants.
