It was all great and supportive until they charged me $2,000 because they sent an incorrect diagnosis to my health insurance. After 4 months of not being communicated with or posted on the patient portal, there was a balance for me to pay. They don't solve any billing issues nor cancel my appointments. I am just asking for TRANSPARENCY.
I have been in to better balance about 13 times now for therapy and treatments. I have never one time been in any of the offices where there was someone having a bad day or where they were dealing with someone on the phone and they were short or unprofessional the feeling in the offices is very homie and everybody feels like family at first I thought it’s maybe because I was starved and needing that kind of connection in my life and they felt like family but now I realize they have a very unique culture they hired just the r... read more

I want to start by saying that I love my psychiatrist at Better Balance Psychiatry and have had nothing but positive interactions with the front desk/reception staff, who are always kind and responsive. Unfortunately, my experience with the Practice Manager, Shannon, has been extremely frustrating. I’ve been trying to resolve a billing question that we were supposedly “sorting out” for over three months now, and communication has been consistently lacking.
