Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Kitei! Was extremely forceful with my toddler. Did not explain what he was doing and was forcing her eyes open with his hands, pressing down on her face so hard and forcefully that he left marks under the eyes that are still present hours later! She was crying and he did not care. The drops he forced in her eyes are reusable drops- he forced the tip into her eyes, touching them. They use these drops on everyone. That’s so unhygienic! Our experience with Dr. Kitei and this office was unfortunately very disappointing. From the beginning, we had concerns about Dr. Kitei's bedside manner. During appointments, we felt that our daughter's concerns about her blurry vision were dismissed rather than thoroughly addressed. We also found him to be judgmental and not particularly receptive to listening to our concerns as parents, which made us feel unheard throughout her care.
