Best hospital had to have surgery back in November. Great Drs and nurses.
Beth Israel took care of my father last year. We were very scared, 84, at the time. He is someone who never complains about ANYTHING! HIS LEGS WERE SWOLLEN! I happened to bring him to a Dr's appt. in Braintree (that is where he lives!) as soon as the Dr. saw his legs he was rushed to Beth Israel! It was very serious, really touch and go once the swelling of his legs went down. That was the beginning of Dialysis treatment! Until the the next crises "which always can be preventive!" 2003 saw the birth of my son at 1 lb and 2oz and now he is 11 today but we have not forgotten the amazing NICU team in particular wherever these people might be now, Dr. Silverman for going beyond the call of duty, nurse Arlene, who helped me through, Laurie the night nurse who loved my son like no other, the nurse who took me to Ogunquit and so many more...you too Dwayne. Saved my moms sister from a traveling embolism from her leg to her lung could of killed her. I would say that they must be one of the best.
Hi - I am disappointed by the lack of knowledge that I and my wife were provided about the exorbitantly expensive procedure that my wife had at your facility. I do not know the reason that you have charged 3 to 4 times what is expected for the same procedure in another hospital. I expect a hospital of your stature to at least inform a patient about the charges that he/she might incur for a procedure even though they have insurance. I just wanted to take minute to thank the staff of the transplant institute, Dr. Kristin Raven and Dr. Amy Evenson for the wonderful experience my friend Jennifer (recipient) and myself (donor) had with her kidney transplant surgery (11/27/12). My husband has spent a lot of time at this hospital since being diagnosed with ALL with the PH chromosome. The nurses and doctors are fantastic he calls them the Angels of Seven Fieldberg.
