I would really like to give this place a 5. The room was fabulous, and so was our view. And the coffee in the restaurant was great! BUT there was a funny smell in the room, we couldn't quite place, and whatever it was set off our allergies really bad! That weird smell is the only reason this review is a 4 and not a 5....
Just a magical, peaceful, unforgettable place. Still think about it every day. Would go back in a heartbeat.....one day...........

Stunning location, my room looks over Shelter Island Marina....people are awesome, room is lovely and bar and pool areas are fab, we love love love it here
