Horrible customer service! Bought a new TV based on their recommendation along with their protection plan, and within 6 weeks it completely broke. The only solution they could offer was repairs that will take three weeks or so if we are lucky. They refused to replace a faulty product, and their expensive protection plan? What a joke! Buy from a store who backs their products - avoid this place.

We bought the Geek Squad tech support 6 months ago and have had nothing but problems!!! The first time I brought my laptop in to have it cleaned, just cleaned mind you they didn't do ANYTHING!! They never called me to pick it up and when I finally just went in they said they called me at a number that wasn't mine. Then the guy couldn't even find my laptop. When I tried again to take it in they again didn't do anything and still didn't call me and said they called what was once again not my number! I gave them the correct num... read more

shoulb be rated NO STARS After having attempted to contact someone at 1-888-BESTBUY for over a week and having the phone ring for 30 minutes without anyone ever answering the phone I went into a local Best buy store. Their customer service was barely an improvement from the call center. I purchased a laptop at the store that I had originally attempted to purchase online (it was"in processing" for over a week. I went to Best Buy recently to return a printer. I explained to them that I owned a business & I used a printer everyday. I told them that I could not feed card stock through the printer. They took my printer & printed on regular printer paper & then told me that the printer worked fine & they would have to send it away for inspection. I heard alot of bad things about Best Buy, but every time I go in to Best Buy, every clerk I've dealt with went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied and all my questions were answered. I was in here about a month ago when I purchased a new cell phone. The salesman that helped my spent almost 45 min trying to get some pictures from my old phone to the new phone. I didn't mind the wait and he didn't have to do it, but I was highly impressed that he took the time to try.

Phone Service suck When you call Best Buy, there is no live body to talk to you. You have to know any extension, visit them online or call Geek Squad for help.######This is sad.
