I have no idea what happened to my laptop when it was undergoing repair, but it sure as heck didn’t have this massive dent in the corner when I sent it in. I really wish the Geek Squad tech tonight hadn’t been so rushed in having me sign the form acknowledging service was complete, and I wish I wasn’t so naive to trust them NOT to do something like this or I would have looked it over more carefully in store. My son saved all of his Christmas and birthday money to purchase an Apple Watch. He didn’t even have it a month when it stopped working. Best Buy in Coralville told us there was nothing they could about it because of a small scratch. They told my 16 year old he was just out his money. We buy all of our electronics from Best Buy! No more!!
Went to buy a "new" Kitchenaid artisan mixer, they didn't have one in the store so said they would send one UPS. I received a box with a hole I it and a broken plastic guard. Called the number on the invoice and it was a recording voice said to take in to store to be fixed. Decided to take out the mixer and see if it was actually broken too and found another guard already in there!?! There is also a scuffed scratch on the mixer itself. Fridge purchase in October delivery Nov 9- arrive with door damage after waiting over 4 hours-They called today we have no doors but we can pick-up the fridge. Its gonna take more than a GEEK Squad
Wish i didnt even have to give 1 star.... Very upset....should have known better than to go to Best Buy. I want to buy an IPad... stopped in and couldn't get anyone to help me. We waited around for 30 minutes. Told someone we needed help and wanted to purchase an IPad. Still no help. Saw at least 7 employees just standing around talking to each other.... This is why I stay away from Best Buy in general. Then people wonder why online stores make more money.... what a waste of my time!
This is why people shop online, stores like this will be closed in the near future.
