From the initial in-office meeting a couple of years ago, to recent post-surgery exams, Dr. Mandlebaum has been outstanding! His concern, care, and surgical skills are stellar. Dr. Mandelbaum's staff is concerned, thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially Tierran who has provided timely information post-surgery. I had been having right knee pain, so I went see to Dr. Mandelbaum. Dr. Mandelbaum found a tear in my knee after a MRI. This my second time seeing Dr. Mandelbaum to get surgery done in my other knee and now iI am pain free. Dr. Mandelbaum and his team are caring and are professional. I highly recommen!
After running six marathons, I was referred to Dr. Mandelbaum to check out my damaged knee. His advice on six shots over six weeks sustained my knee for over 20 years. I tore my meniscus playing tennis and although I am now based in Florida, I chose to fly to California to have Dr Bert ROCKSTAR Mandelbaum take care of it. I was walking same day and never needed pain medicine. Dr. Mandelbaum will always be my go-to for the truth and successful outcome. And his team is excellent.

My experience with Dr. Mandlebaum is nothing short of stellar! He thoroughly explained my issue, and unlike a physician I previously saw at UCLA, he listened to my concerns regarding dancing, hiking, skating, and offered my a solution and hope. He is a remarkable physician and I'm truly fortunate to have him as my surgeon!!!
I felt like the support staff listened better and had more of a dialogue with me about my options than the doctor. But overall, it was a positive experience and I am aligned with the current recommendations for my care.

He was a straight shooter and patient with my questions. Even though it was hard to watch, I left with a better understanding of what the surgery would entail (video) and a packet of all the steps. I also liked that the packet of info acknowledged how all the feelings were normal (scared, frustrated)
Great doctor focused on sports and dedicated to getting me back in the same shape I was in before surgery. I also thought he has great people working under him with the same goal.
