The only way this would have been a positive experience is if I already had a medical degree and already knew the protocol for what to do with my type of injury. As I type this, I have a torn meniscus and I was not told activities to avoid, which are safe, what to expect... Can I go to work, can I drive (I haven't been able to) Very frustrating. Dr Mandelbaum has been caring for my knees for several years. I appreciate that he takes the time to actually listen to your concerns and explain the different options for treatment and work with you to find the best course of action for your needs. He is the first surgeon that has actively pushed for the least invasive course of action and work towards what works for you as an individual. He staff is all extremely pleasant and helpful and the doctors he has working with him are all top notch.
