Dr. Mandelbaum is amazing. I enjoyed the way he spoke to me and explained things. I trusted him and felt so at ease knowing I was in very capable hands. He understood where I was coming from and the office and support were all amazing. Every step has been a positive experience. The surgery and support after all of it.
Could have given more guidance for the healing period leading up to PT-/ how much should I walk? How long with brace?
The way he talks to you, not as you're a health care person, and not as an idiot, he talks to you like he wants you to truly understand what he is going to do in your procedure and your diagnosis, and that is very much appreciated.

I think as many as six of my Sunday soccer team mates have been to this facility on my recommendation.
They didn't draw blood very well. A lot of bruising. Dr. Mandelbaum was wonderful. He did a GREAT job.
He's a great surgeon who takes his patients needs into consideration.
Dr. Bert Mandelbaum is well known and recognized for his outstanding technological surgeries. I injured my knee playing soccer hard-core. I am very passionate and play rough so I detached my anterior cruiciate ligament completely. I bruised my tibia across and my femur. Broke 4 different cartilage areas but Dr. Mandelbaum performed a cutting edge surgery with biodegradable screws. I believe the Doctor should have spent more time discussing the results of my x-rays and comparing them with prior exams. I left not knowing if my condition had improved or gotten worse
Through rank idiocy I ruptured my patellar tendon in a fall down stairs. Dr. Mandelbaum was recommended by my ER doctor on a Friday night, got me in the following Monday and performed the repair that Wednesday. Follow up appointments started the next day when I was sent home with a bunch of exercises to do. All you can ask is a good surgeon with a good recovery plan, and that’s what I’ve got.
