Owner David Laxer carries on the tradition of excellence begun by his father Bern more than 40 years ago. Beef connoisseurs should make this restaurant first on their list of culinary stops. Known for its large selection of melt-in-your mouth aged beef, it is easy to see why it has won a wall full of awards. The “putting on the ritz” crowd have some 25 types of caviar to ponder and a wine cellar that pushed one half million bottles.

Berns is an experience that every steaklover must check out in the Tampa area. The wine cellular tour was amazing and you also have to check out the dessert room. Great service and one of the best Steakhouses all around!

The best. Excellent meal and service. Our whole family looks forward to eating at Bern's. If you are in Tampa and don't have a meal at Bern's you missed a great gastronomic experience.

Bern's has been our go to place for special family celebrations for 35 years and they have never disappointed. The steaks are fantastic and always cooked perfectly. We really enjoy the baked potato and French onion soup. Service is exceptional. Our server Dyell did a great job taking care of my family and her wine recommendation was spot on. A trip to the dessert room is always a nice way to cap off a delicious meal. I hope be able to continue to enjoy Bern's for the next 35 years.

Hard NOT to give Bern's a 5 Star!! We had a party of 7 for a birthday celebration and Karl, our waiter, was amazing. Frankly, best waiter I've had in my 56 years. I had a 10oz filet which was outstanding!! Others had swordfish which was just as good. The wine cellar tour was unbelievable with the amount of wines they have there. My only issue, albeit a small one, was the rooms in the desert room were kind of small for a party of 7. A bit pricey but as they say, ya get what ya pay for. Go back? Definitely!!
