Known for its large selection of melt-in-your mouth aged beef, it is easy to see why it has won a wall full of awards. The “putting on the ritz” crowd have some 25 types of caviar to ponder and a wine cellar that pushed one half million bottles.

Every city I visit I search out the top steakhouse. Of all that I’ve been to Bern’s tops the list. I made a mistake and let them trim my delmonico never again taking that fat off sacrifices flavor.

This restaurant is mine and my gf’s favorite but I will say that I felt like the steaks we had last night were just barely average. I felt it had no seasoning or any flavor, it didn’t even seem like they added any salt or pepper (at the minimum) and the fried onions seemed stale. I just remember that the last time we went to Bern’s, it was WAY better. I don’t know if they changed anything but I felt let down which sucked. But the experience was great though.
My first visit. Our waiter Lee was outstanding and very helpful. We both ordered filets. I had mine Pittsburgh rare..omg..it was like butter and cooked perfect. The soup, salad and sides were just right. Baked potato was perfect. Kitchen tour and wine cellar were awesome. Banana cheese pie was to die for. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and a clean bill of health. Thanks for a memorable evening. I even hugged the chef....
