BSC is the best! My machine stopped working during a recent class and needed to be repaired. Steve took it into the workshop and within 2 days it was repaired and with no charge despite all the work that was necessary. The entire staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way possible. I love my 790 and I truly appreciate what a wonderful place this is to share a love of sewing!
I have bought 3 BERNINA machines from the BERNINA Sewing Center and as with all machines service or repair is a necessity. I am very particular who services or repairs my machine and the service there has always been excellent and exceptional. I took my 880 to the shop this weekend for what I thought was going to be an expensive repair. Just got a call from Steve (who is one of the owners and repairs most machines) and was told that he was able to fix the machine for just a nominal fee. I am sorry you feel this way about your experience at our shop. We have always prided ourselves on being extremely honest and most importantly, about repairs. People come from many miles to have us repair their machines because Steve doesn't take advantage of them. I'm sure he made every effort to see what the problem was and perhaps the age of the machine did deter him from going any further due to lack of part availability.
I love Bernina Sewing Centre. I travel far to get there and it is definitely worth it. I appreciate the friendly owners and staff. I am grateful for their many services including sewing machine repair, and Longarm rental. I took a class yesterday and was reminded how much I love this shop. Thank you.
