Best I have enjoyed. Great atmosphere, staff, food, and quaintness.
My wife and I have been to Bernies on numerous occasions. We went for lunch today and it was not a good experience. It started when we were informed that they no longer served alcohol,but we could bring our own. The owner was the cook and bussed the tables. There was one server who was excellent, but it took 30 minutes for my wife to get a half poboy and me for a Caesar Salad. Bernies used to be outstanding! Now, I would not recommend Bernies for lunch. Hello Charles. My wife and myself bought Bernie's in May this year. I can assure you that you will have a completely different experience! We have rooted out the bad things, kept the good things and added new good things. Try us out, ask for Virginia or Jarl, and we will give you a good deal
One of the best local restaurants on the Coast. Dave and the staff create a warm environment in which everyone feels like family. And the food is wonderful! You haven't lived until you've had their steak sandwich!
Best darn tuna dip on the coast! And don't forget to check out the Mississippi mud cake
