Went for lunch yesterday. Ordered the 1/2 steak sandwich and red beans. Waitress said it came with a side order so I choose sweet potato fries. Red beans tastes if they poured a box of salt in it- so they take it back. My other choice was gumbo. Took one bite and It tasted like it had vinegar in it. Several friends with me and agreed it was horrible because it was spoiled!!!! So they said they would take off my bill. I had a great 1st experience at Bernie's. Had the fried shrimp basket with sweet potatoes fries and it was DELICIOUS. (so was the tartar sauce). I dined on the outside patio, enjoyed the music, and had a very cold beer. Tammy was a really good waitress and I'm hoping she's there when I take my husband there for a steak dinner... my new go to restaurant any time I'm in Biloxi.
The Bernies steak sandwich is absolutely delicious.
