Unsanitary units needs to be renovated and fixed. Bugs everywhere. Water leaking from ceiling for what looks to be for a long time. Repaired in the past, but shotty job was done. All that was done is repaint the mold stained water logged ceiling... until finally it collapsed into my tub.
1 star This is my second year living here. Unfortunately, my experience is getting worse by the day. The new management and leasing office staff lack professional communication skills. They rarely follow up on things. Even though they give you the impression that they are helpful, they are actually not. I have to say that the current maintenance team is great. RecommendedExcellent apartment complex! Maintenance is always quick, often next day, and very friendly, while the staff in the front office are helpful, having printed out documents for me multiple times when the business center computers were offline. The complex is right next to Carrboro Plaza, which makes getting groceries easy, and right down the road from a great dog park. Buses stop at the entrances to the complex so getting to UNC is easy. Overall a fine place to live. The rent is manageable, the leasing office is friendly and helpful, and the maintenance team is great. We’ve had some ongoing insect problems that prevent me from giving 5 stars.
In general, Berkshire Manor has been a good place to live. Rent is reasonably priced and the complex is located near a number of bus lines that go to campus. Maintenance is wonderful and always fixes things quickly. However, my apartment has had ongoing bug problems which is why I would give a 5 star rating.
Berkshire 54 is under new management and so far they have been nice so far.
I have been here for three years. I love the property. It’s beautiful, safe, and secure. The staff is fabulous. They are friendly and available to answer any questions. It’s the best place to live in Carrboro�
