RecommendedI love the location and accessibility. Being a GMU student, it is right in the middle of both of the campuses I have classes at. I love my space at Bent Tree and would probably recommend it to any of my friends. I also appreciate the landscaping when you first drive in and the email communications to the residents. My complaint is, within my first 6 months, I put in 32 maintenance requests. Yes, they have all been dealt with promptly, however, these things should have been handled before I moved in. I’ve always heard how bad the rental office staff is toward the renters as far the rent and upkeep of the apartments. And it’s only gotten worse. I have friends who live there and I can’t believe how poorly they are treated. I truly hope potential renters read all of the reviews and don’t consider renting from Bent Tree Apartments.
If I an option to give minus stars I would give maximum negative stars!!. When I first walked in for the place they mentioned how they renovated the unit and everything is nice and new so I signed the contract. I guess at this point, this was my biggest mistake. One night, I got home and heard water running. My sink was backed up and spilled over the counter and to the floor. It was a food waste from upstairs. (I live in ground floor). Got a notice that people will be entering my home and messing with my front door to access my "smartrent installation " .. what the hell is smart rent? Wouldnt have been smart to send out that notice first. I had to Google the thing.. its sounds awlful.

Open parking for residents is based on a first-come, first-served basis, as we currently have more residents with cars than parking spots. We are always looking to improve parking for residents, but I will make sure the team works to work something out for you. -George
DO NOT MOVE HERE. Everyone in the office since Aimco took place hide information and omit to give you information and afterwards you can not do anything but stand it. The maintenance and cleaning is pretty bad. I have one more year to go so I don’t have too many options so I have to put up with it, but if you want good advice, do not move here. Now they are even charging a mandatory monthly fee for a parking space and you get a late fee if you pay your rent late (after the 1st day of the month, I always pay by the 5th) peopl... read more
