Very professional office and staff. Very thorough examination, as well as for follow up visits.
I have only positive reviews of my visit to Retina Center of Teaneck. Aside from, having a long wait, appointment at 11:15AM, finished treatment at 12:35, the staff was cordial and the time spent was worth it. Dr. Freilich is excellent at giving “shots” in my eyes and I feel very secure knowing that I am his patient.
Dr Frelich is very knowledgeable about his profession. I appreciate that. My only dissatisfaction was his bedside manner. After the thorough examination it seem he couldn't get away from me fast enough. As he walked away and all I could see was his back he told me everything was fine. He sai I only had some small cataracts that I probably follow up with in about 6 months. I struggled to hear what he was saying about my examination and I felt very uncomfortable. I started to wonder if it was personal even though I knew I neve... read more
There was a bit of a wait to see the doctor But he is an excellent doctor
Zero bed side manners, rude, and aggressive. This “Dr.” seemed to be in a rush and did not seem to have my health and wellness in his best interests. If I could rate him a zero I would. This was my first visit and last. I felt like I was being shuffled off by him. My issue was NOT resolved and I pray that my condition does not become dire, for my sake and the sake of this practice. I will also make sure to voice this same concern public to avoid others being treated the way that I was.
First time visit with my elderly mom. Dr. FREILICH seemed knowledgeable enough, but was very brusque. Didn't explain anything. Made NO concessions for the fact that my mom is elderly and needs a little actual interaction with the doctor. He barked orders and barely spoke to us. Left me very uncomfortable.
Have been a patient at this practice for many years. The staff has always been very kind and helpful, and the doctors I've seen there in the past have been amazing, gentle, and informative. Unfortunately, Dr Freilich was the complete opposite: The eye exam itself was unnecessarily rough. He was curt and uncommunicative. Questions were dismissed or went unanswered. I've learned more about my eye conditions from my regular eye doctor than I did from Dr Freilich... why see a specialist if they provide a rushed, painful visit an... read more
My retina specialist left the practice and I was given an appointment with Dr. Freilich. The appointment was uncomfortable from the start. He was rough during the eye exam. He had one hand on my head and the other holding my eye open. It was painful and when I mentioned it he said to sit still. I am not a child and did not appreciate being spoken to like that. He disagreed with my prior doctor's recommendations and said he didn't know what he was talking about. I found his demeanor to be rude. At the end of the visit, he sai... read more
Dr. Freilich is very personable and I felt I was in great medical hands with him and his entire team. I highly recommend him.
