We have been at Children's Hospital in Oakland for the past 13 years since the diagnosis. Our diagnosis was done on 4/15 of 2004 at UCSF Parnassus. We left at that point because the Rett syndrome clinic set up by the amazing Nues's family was in Oakland. With the merger we have brought OUR care across the bay for the first time this week. The Doctors and nurses where great! They treated my family's and my grandson with the up most respect, his surgery went well.
Staff was very kind and courteous !! Took care of the patients and guests' needs and wants!!
I can't say enough great things about UCSF. We delivered our baby girl there and had the most amazing experience. Everyone took great care of us during the delivery and recovery process. I also love seeing all the great work they're doing for families and babies with complicated or special conditions.
