Dr. Posselt and the transplant team saved my daughter's life on her 4th birthday, and every nurse, doctor and person that helped us along the way. UCSF is the only hospital that was able to perform this surgery. 7 hospitals over the course of 11 months. The only other hospital is the Masonic Children's hospital in Minnesota at the time. My daughter Lorelei Batty is 2nd in the world to have this procedure at her age. Today she is a normal, beautiful, full of energy little 6 year old.. No more pancreatitis. My daughter had a Bone Marrow Transplant and they have a great BMT team. The nurses and doctors are awesome and took really good care of her.
UCSF is the BEST!!!!! They made a very difficult time tolerable. The Ronald Mc Donald House staff and rooms also amazing. Thank You and god bless you all
