I went to Bellin for my first time in February 2018 to give birth to my daughter and over all the experience was nice the only complaint I have is that not all the nurses are there for your needs some of them would just come in do what they need to do and leave but on the other hand some of the nurses went above and beyond to make sure I had water, clean room, helped me with nursing since I’m a first time mom and had no idea what I was doing. They killed my dad. He went in for cellulitis on his leg, he died 9 days later. They had over 25 horrible mistakes and he suffered. A nurse Mary gave him "his medicine" to rest and he died in 5 minutes. Bellin denied us an autopsy. The state of wisconsin even recognized the errors in my dad's case and opened an investigation on bellin. We are heartbroken and we can't do anything about our loss. I went a saw a Dr. there and I was charged $170.00 for sitting on the exam table. They hid this charge under hospital miscellaneous but that is what the charge is for. I would see the vet before I would go back to that money hungry place.
Great hospital...WONDERFUL staff...but the cafeteria SUCKS....
The specialists are great! Dr Spears my Orthopedic specialist knows his stuff and is not quick to jump into surgeries.
we been to the ER 3 times in two weeks for my wife's abdominal pain and it's still not diagnosised they do their three basic test and say there nothing wrong and send us on our way. The er lpn talked down to us and said our case wasnt an emergency, mean while my wife can barely function and take care of our two year old. In the almost 6 hours there we seen her twice. Had great nurses & doctors that helped my husband with his knee surgery.
Everyone is so very pleasant. From checking in, procedure & finding my way out!
I can not get help after my surgery. when it didn't work out as planned I was abandoned. ☹
