A Must for Those with Long Hair – My experience at the Phoenix was excellent. I have long hair and a lot of it. I have been in for haircuts and blowdrys many times and I am so pleased with the results and with how I was treated. So many times, I have been to other salons and the stylist was annoyed with having to blow dry my hair. At the Phoenix, they suggested that I have the japanese straightening treatment and I no longer have to battle with blow drying my hair myself. It is so much easier now. VERY DISSAPOINTING EXPERIENCE AND SERVICES – I went here thinking it was going to be a great new salon/spa for me,but what I found left me very upset. the Best Spa in Philadelphia – The Phoenix Salon and Spa provides the best services I have received in the City of Philadelphia. The services are comparable or better than the best in the US and in the world. The spa services rival those at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, and the hair is better than any I have been to in the country and outside. Great Experience!! – This is the nicest spa Ive been to in center city. I had a salt scrub and an herbal body wrap by Kim, and it was fantastic!! Ive never been so relaxed. I love getting spa treatments and this was an excellent experience...Im definitly going back.

Jennie is amazing! – I've recently relocated and tried The Phoenix based upon the consistent "highly recommended" evals it received on citysearch. Excellent decision! The trendy salon is calm, smells great (like an Aveda heaven, not like hairspray & cigarettes). The helpful staff is quite happy at their jobs. Secret Gem at 16th and Arch! – I followed an employee from another spa to Phoenix and boy am I glad I did! It's clean, mellow, and everyone is very friendly. French manicures last a full week with Maelynn and my hair never looks better than when Angela and Shannon tend to it. April and the other girls at the front desk are genuinely friendly and it's such a treat to be warmly greeted when you visit. Fantastic place! – Amelia is an awesome assistant in the salon and she did a great job shampooing and giving a scalp massage. Shannon was my stylist and she took as long as we needed to give me the exact cut I was looking for and was also very personable and fun to talk to. The Phoenix is well-organized and has great service all around!
