My Pre-Bridal Experience was Wonderful – I am getting married this Spring, and have booked my bridal party at the Phoenix for their hair, nails, and make-up. I had my pre-bridal appointment recently and was very pleased with my up-do and my make-up. My nerves are calmer, and the actual day will be much easier now that I know I am going to look great. I will sign back on once the big day passes, and let everyone know how things went.
the Phoenix Salon and Spa is Worth Checking Out – What a beautiful salon and spa this is, and I truly enjoyed my services. I had a great haircut with Jackie, and a facial with Allie that was relaxing, and my skin still looks great a week later. I have received comments from friends and colleagues regarding the way my skin looks and I think it is just the after effect of the Vibraderm facial. There were plenty of other men in the salon on the day i was there, so there was not an issue with feeling uncomfortable as a man in a ... read more
Flawless experience – What a great find! I was looking for a new hair salon, and after reading reviews decided on this one. The atmosphere is calm and clean, and every staff member I encountered was exceedingly corteous and professional. My stylist consulted with me before my shampoo, and again once I was in her chair. She communicated with me throughout about what she was doing (and actually listened to what I wanted), which helped to put me further at ease. My cut is probably the best I've ever received - I will definately... read more
A Wonderful Experience and High Class Salon – I had a wonderful experience at the Phoenix. I was referred to the Salon by the concierge staff at the Four Seasons Hotel, and walked over for my hair and nail appointment. From the time I walked in the door, until the time I checked out, I was treated respectfully and professionally, and the staff at the Phoenix has a lot of class, yet is not stuffy at all. My hair looked terrific, my nails were perfect, and I even had the chance to buy some neat make-up.
NOT WHAT I EXPECTED – I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FIRST CLASS SALON AND SPA. THE SALON WAS FAIR,NOT REALLY GOOD. THE HIGHLIGHTS THEY DID WERE OK AT BEST. THE MASSAGE I HAD WAS VERY POOR. I ASKED FOR A DEEP MASSAGE AND WHAT I GOT WAS ABOUT AS LIGHT AS YOU CAN GET. ALL THE MASSAGE THERAPIST DI WAS TRY TO SELL ME PRODUCT AND KEPT TALKING
Shannon is Quick and No-Nonsense for Haircuts – I have been going to Shannon at the Phoenix for the last several months and am able to get a last minute appointment in most cases and am in and out in no time at all. Shannon is skilled and efficient, and fun to talk to. I enjoy her stories and her candor. For the last 20 years, I have been going to Lauren in Strafford who is terrific, but it was a hassle to get there for a haircut, and because I work in the City, I was limited to the weekends for a haircut. My wife is even th... read more
A Rainy Saturday- Yet My Hair Looks Great – I just got back from the Phoenix on this rainy, terrible day. We have an event to go to tonight, and I needed a blowdry. Normally, it would be a waste of money to get one on a day like this, but with the valet parking that the Phoenix offers, I was OK. I never met the rain, as the valet guy walked me with an umbrella to the door of my car. And...... to top it off, the salon gives a discount on parking so the entire day only cost me $5.00 to park. What a bonus when it is raining!!!!... read more
A Lovely Place- Good Manicures – the Phoenix serviced all of my needs in one day and I was very happy with the results. It is a little pricey, but well worth the extra dollars for the services I received. I was paying $12 for a manicure and I was charged $20 at the Phoenix, but it was a much better service, took longer, and I think it will last longer so I will not need to go so often. By the way, my manicurist was May Lynn. Next time I will try the pedicure and get my hair done.
A Center City Escape That Fills a Day – The Phoenix is a beautiful hair salon and spa right in the center of the best part of the City. I have enjoyed my services there and continue to enjoy my purchases. It makes for a relaxing day to sip a latte at Starbucks at the Phoenix, enjoy my scheduled appointments at the Phoenix Salon and Spa, and then meet friends for lunch or Happy Hour at Tir Na Nog, all in the same building. It also helps that the Salon offers validated valet parking right at the entrance to the building for al... read more
