I don't like complaining, and I almost never complain about anyone, but Between my self and My Mother, we have not been given the respect and courtesy that we have come to expect at the Wakefield apartments. Leasing agent Zakaya McKinney is not a person who should be dealing with people if she does not like them! Since I have moved in 4yrs ago, this place has been a disaster. Last summer there was a big party at the pool overcrowding with people smoking weed loud music. The girl in the office didn’t care and she went home . Police was called in. Now we have people barbecuing and riding mopeds on our grass areas. The people in the office are not concerned with these issues . The girl in the office told me that they can barbecue anywhere they want. **Update:** No upgraded unit was provided as initially expected. Additionally, we were informed that we couldn’t move in unless our renter’s insurance was updated to reflect the new unit, which we were only notified about on short notice—just one day before Thanksgiving. No grace period or leniency was granted, despite the fact that it takes 24-48 hours for the updated document to reflect the new address/unit and any additional required information. Front office is completely unprofessional. Particularly Imani and the girl at the front desk. When I showed up for my scheduled tour they told me they tried to contact me and tell me that they didn’t give tours for the time slot I scheduled ON THEIR WEBSITE. When I asked them why they would offer a time slot that didn’t work. They brushed me off as if my gripe didn’t matter. I drove over 40 minutes to be on time for my appointment. Complete waste of time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STAFF. They are completely negligent.
8/23/22 -The office lady at the front desk(the heavy set one) was extremely disrespectful, maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed I have no idea, I came through the front door, she saw me and didn't say anything, I had to say "hello, I think I have some packages delivered here" the office lady said "uh here?
