Wedding planning sucked hotel service was poor way over priced
Anything negative you think could've happened with service for wedding is exactly what happened. staff were rude and very unfriendly. needed extra blankets towels and pillows for the wedding party, and they didn't have much extra to provide. had to do laundry to even supply us with extra towels. the hotel bar was supposed to be open until 10, closed early. the bar for the wedding was supposed to be until 11, but they shut that down by like 9. serving other guests dinner behind us at the wedding in the space they had us walki... read more
Nothing! Although the ceremony and pictures were beautiful. The majority of the staff were very rude and disorganized. We planned our wedding at the Belhurst four months but attention to detail was not a priority. Our calls and text were not returned and our concerns were addressed late or sometimes not at all. We expected this to be our fairytale wedding although myself my wife and my guest all felt as if our stay was an inconvenience to the hotel. RecommendedA beautiful location with great food and a pleasant atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed the 6 course with wine pairing dinner and would highly recommend it. There were 8 of us and the dinner took approximately 2.5 hrs. We dined in a private room (The Library). The food was amazing (we especially loved the duck wings), the wine perfectly complimented each course, and the service was impeccable. Morgan was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the Castle, the food, and the wine.
The view and grounds are gorgeous. a pool overlooking the lake would make it that much better!
Great!! White sangria was by far the best, and the little wine tasting!
