Our visit was a few years ago. Hopefully it's better now, we have not been back. We had an overnight stay reservation. We expected to be staying in one of the castle rooms, but instead occupied one of the "bungalows" on the property. Upon approaching, in the dark, the motel/apartment like building, it was difficult to see where you were walking due to insufficient lighting. Lock was difficult and the place was disgusting. visited the Castle for a gorgeous wedding
The castle is a must see. The grounds are quite beautiful with views is the lake from every window. Great Chardonnay and a very friendly staff
A wonderful, historic, relaxing , peaceful location to stay. The Spa is incredible, Wine tasting is a relaxing chance to sample their wine, dining and service is incredible. Finish you day with a stroll around the lake, and sit by the fire with an Irish coffee.
Beautiful atmosphere and great food!
Wine tasting was quite nice. server was dedicated to service and knowledgeable. enjoyed the tasting and the environs.
