great for professional not for good deals If you're a professional photographer or afficionado looking for a high end camera or specific material this is a good place because they carry a very wide selection of cameras and products related. They also carry good selection of adaptators especially for foreign countries and for products from foreign countries. However, their prices are "general public" digital cameras are not the best.

First Rate Service I was in the store this past Saturday. When I first walked in I was warmly greeted, first by the security man and then a sales clerk. He asked how can he help me and I indicated that I wanted to purchase the Canon T1i 2-lens kit in their advertisement. After checking around and verifying that there were none in stock, the clerk said I can make the purchase now with the current rebates and no sales tax offer and then the store will call me when the kit arrives. Coolness I feel like I am a preferred customer here. The guys, Melvin, Victor, Ozzie, Francisco and the rest of the crew, call me by name when i come in and act like they are genuinely happy to see me. Price isn't a factor because compared to other stores they are right at or below what you'd expect. I'd recommend Bel Air for any camera/film needs
Great work Great work for only $25. I dropped my camcorder and broke the threading of my step up. They started telling me how to fix it myself, and then he thought of a solution where they provided a step up that fit my camera and it only cost me $25. Took about 5-10 minutes. I'm as happy as a fly on a horses back in the middle of a wind storm.
Very helpful Michael Lewis in the Video department is the best guy to speak to. He is very friendly and very helpful. He is the most efficient with the transactions. If you need any help with video, Michael is the guy to speak to.
I LOVE this place! Bel Air Camera is the best camera shop I have ever set foot in. I go to UCLA and frequent this place. I can see all the latest cameras and equipment, get all of my questions answered and even rent the stuff I can't afford to buy with a student discount! It's a pretty big, knowledgeable staff almost everyone knows everything. David has been pretty good, Melvin knows old school cameras and lighting, Barry seems to know a lot, Amelia is SUPER in Rental. I LOVE this place!
Incomparable! I like to think of myself as person who is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to photography and all that goes along with it, and I think that this is an absolutely wonderful store. The selection is incomparable to any other store. The customer service is top notch, the salesmen really know what they're talking about. I recommend them you everyone!
