Buyer beware!That time of the year for purchasing and repairing boat. To many other honest dealers out there.
I brought my boat to Bedford Sales in March 2025 for a new powerhead. To start, I was dealing primarily with DJ in service. Within a day or so, I was called by DJ and he politely explained how he was mistaken on the initial pricing. I was told the powerhead prices were about double what he initially expected. He wasn't going to charge me for the time they took looking at my motor and offered to look at any used motors that I came across which I may want to purchase for my boat. First off the folks that work there seem to be genuinely nice however their follow up and negotiating skills leave a lot to be desired. As a matter of fact based on what folks have told me that live in the area ( my oldest grandson lives not far from the dealership ) the owner is top tier.
