My daughter in law’s prenatal visits have been cancelled last minute (like after she arrived, they told her they didn’t have time to see her) and she generally has to wait excessively when she is seen. This week, the doctor didn’t see her until 90 minutes after her scheduled appointment and just said that they were “running behind”. They don’t respect people’s time. I’ve heard this experience from other family that have been patients here, so I don’t think this is atypical.
Imagine you have a herniated disc, two bulging discs, bone spurs in your neck AND a hernia in your right groin. I’ve had Beaver Medical for almost 2 years now and I have not had any help from any doctors regarding these issues. No prescriptions for pain or to help sleep even when you bring VALID PROOF of the issues. Never calls back. Impossible to see my own doctor. (BEAVER TERRACINA PEDIATRICS) The Dr. who saw my son was awesome. The receptionist on the other hand was plainly rude and disrespectful. When I arrived to the clinic, I stood in line behind 2 individuals, 1 was a female Caucasian with a newborn baby, the other was an adult male Hispanic. It’s really quick in and out for appointments and the staff is great
Frustrated dealing with idiots at utilization review, I think they get rated by the number of declination the do, totaling ignorance of medical criteria for an important piece of medical equipment. Will file formal complaint and grievance with my health plan. If I find out that someone other than a doctor reviewed my case, I will file a complaint with the medical board for practicing medicine without a license.
