Tone deaf racists have no place in our city. I’m getting real tired of my dark skinned brothers and sisters being shamed and mistreated due to having more melanin.
Stop selling Confederate flag clothing in a store that is supposed to support diversity would probably be a really good place to start. And being a little more respectful to customers would probably help too...just a thought.

I was shopping in the store yesterday and found a leather vest that had a Confederate flag on it displayed on a rack. I brought it to the owners attention and was met with aggressive ranting and threats of calling the police if we didn't leave. This store does not belong in the queer community that has been championed by queer people of color. Please avoid this business.

The despicably racist behavior by the staff & owner of Beatnix on Halsted must be brought to light. They happily sell confederate flag items. When questioned the owner got defensive & threatened to call the police. This business has no business being in an LGBTQ-friendly neighborhood.
