The hotel is delightfully retro and you will recognize parts of it from the movie Scarface ....the hotel staff are fantastic .... they care about the customer ... we'd definitely stay at the Beacon again ... ... except for drinks, I'd avoid the restaurant ... extremely overpriced for the quality ...

Enjoyable night with a fabulous atmosphere
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Location is great. Right across the street from the beach. Walking distance to everything on South Beach. Very clean rooms. Beds very comfortable. There is one negative thing I must comment on. The air condition units are located right above the outdoor seating area on the second floor. They drip water continuously on that area. A simple hose attachment to each unit would solve the problem!!!
