Many rave about The Beacon, but the best input I've heard since in Spartanburg is that people go there due to what it once was. Today, The Beacon shows the promise of what once was while showing the faded colors of time. Landmark. Just wait til you see the seafood platters. You need a flatbed to haul them off. Definitely will return. This is coming from a long-time Varsity patron, too. You guys have a great joint.
