The deep deep sadness and sense of irreplaceable loss is unbearable. David was one of the kindest and sweetest human beings I have ever known. He shared his knowledge and his time and his skills. There is no way of rationalizing this senseless act. We, all of us in Tidewater share the grief. My prayers and hopes and support go to David's family. May you find the strength to carry on in his honor, and may you draw comfort from the outpouring of genuine love from our community.
