I am so glad I decided to go to Beach Auto Repair. I called first, and things didn't look too good for my car, but they were happy to look at it anyway. The crew was very friendly and professional. They saw me immediately and promptly ran the diagnostic. My options were discussed clearly, and I could tell they really wanted to fix the problem. I usually never write reviews but this definitely deserves one. All the good reviews are from the old ownership. Utterly horrible service. Had my car towed to this shop after it got stuck in reverse and wouldn't start. Right off the back the service over the phone was great, I talked to a guy named Dylan who wad very helpful at first. They got to my diagnostic within two days of dropping the car off and told me that my gear shift assembly and gear shift chain needed to be replaced. 6/24/25 update: Beach Auto Repair (BAR) completed coolant leak on 5/30/25 but could not complete the timing chain issue that they diagnosed on 1/3/25 which they recommended a tear down. Tani @RepairPAL has been involved since April 2025 and followed up on the progress of repairs. Tani also coordinated the tow to Landrover Service Center so the timing chain issue can be reevaluated and to give a secondary diagnostic assessment of the vehicle’s engine since BAR tore it down and neglected to provide MaxCare Warranty with the c... read more
I had a multitude of issues with my old pickup and they had gotten the work done within a couple days and were open to finding a price point I could afford. Loved this shop and will be returning!! Highly recommended!
Richard was outstanding. Customer service was above what was expected and price was well in reason for my Subaru repair! Will definitely come back for future maintenance
