Bertha is the best ever. I've been going to Be Hair Salon for the past 2.5 years, and I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair in my life—I've had people stop me in the hallway just to say how much they like my hair! angeles was very sweet, but started cutting my bangs after seeing a few reference photos with varying lengths in the front, and by the time she asked me "you wanted these to be baby bangs, right?" the damage had been done. i should've spoken up sooner, but there really was no going back after she started cutting. it started to look good on the side she began on, which gave me hope, but she cut it so unevenly from one side to the other that it just doesn't look cohesive. i wanted to bring it up at the end of the cut, but she ... read more

I went to Be hair studio in hopes to get to my natural hair color of a light brown/ dirty blond. I have a bit past shoulder length, thick, 3b hair, and i have bleached and box dyed my hair prior to this appointment. The last time i colored my hair was a year ago with box dye and the color turned out to be too dark and uneven so i scheduled for a color correction. Bertha was great. After arm surgery, I wanted a simple braided updo that would stay for a few days, but every salon that I called said that their stylists don't know how to braid (!!!!!). Bertha was more than willing to work with me to make sure my hair looked nice and stayed safe and out of the way while I recovered. She listened very attentively to what I was looking for and delivered.
