Stayed at the Baymont for two nights. Online, they had a message that the "fitness room" was closed; no big deal, I don't need their treadmill. As I drive up, one of the exterior lights is flashing incessantly. I mentioned it at check-in, and the desk guy says it's been doing that for a week. There is a sign on the door that the pool is closed, but no mention of that online. Once in the room, I can't connect to Wi-Fi. A modest but clean & well attended the staff made up for any amenities one might like but got the price an absolute bargain. I’ll return anyone in in the area. It’s the people who work the business that make the business & the folks there do it well instinctively. Clean rooms, & very accommodating.
I read all the reviews about the pool being out of order and ignored them because we wouldn't need to use the pool. What I should have taken into consideration is the stupidity of the management who would let that situation continue because these idiots also decided 5pm on a Friday night would a good time to resurface the parking lot - forcing everyone to park out on the street and trek their belongings through the mess (which happened to be pouring rain we we came) - ruining ing my wife's pants in the process. Needs renovation now!
I reserved a room over a month ago. Was told check in was at 3pm. No problem. Until I got there and they kept telling me diffrent times of when it might be ready. I had my child with me and we couldn't keep waiting for them. The maids were not in cleaning rooms, like they were supposed to be, they were outside on there phones. There were other people drinking in the parking lot. After 4 hours and no hotel room I said screw it and found a better hotel. Run from this hotel. The management sucked .
