If I could give this place a zero star review, I would. I came to Ames with coworkers on a work trip, and we found several bedbugs, plus one of our roommates had bites all over his back. The front desk employee seemed to be accusing us of bringing them in, saying there were none in the room the day we got there, and demanding to know where they came from. He also said they've found bedbugs outside the hotel before, but residents have never found them inside their rooms (which is just a blatant lie). We spoke with the manager... read more

Very exceptional in professional service. The staff are very friendly, always willing to assist. The room is very clean and the hotel location is what I love most, at the center of Ames.

Old and out dated.. rooms not great looks like maintenance has been done by a blind teenager. Pool and hot tub closed. The tvs are older than me and have very few channels. If we weren’t here for work I would’ve checked out after night 1. Lots of hotels in the area hard to believe this place survives. Update- while I was at work today they cleaned my room despite the do not disturb sign being put out. They decided the containers that I bring my food in were garbage even though they were sitting by the sink with water in them... read more
