Staff is kind! However the Baylor Keller ER doesn't "talk" to the Baylor Grapevine hospital so they expect me to pay for 2 rounds of blood work. Ridiculous! 5 blown veins later...
Arrived about 1130p finally at 2a they decide to take her for a ct scan nurses need to be retrained with alil more duties and alot more compassion! Do they teach bedside manners in nursing school? They didnt care to check on the patient not once i had to keep askin for blankets they performed tests that didnt need to be administered....only to charge fees unnecessarily! I had knee surgery there yesterday Feb 17th, and I could not have more impressed! All of the nurses and doctors were unbelievable! The nurses from pre-opp to recovery to post opp were so good and Really made me feel at ease. I know that is their job, but it doesn't always go that way. If you're unfortunate and have to have surgery that is the place to have it! I hope that the right people see this and commend the OR staff.i apologize that I have horrible with names but I do remember Joy "the IV queen"
The worst experience I've ever had a hospital. I waited 5 hours to even get seen, another 3 hours until they realized I needed to be admitted. I was there at 6:45pm, got admitted at 4am. The nurses tried to get my blood over 5 times and left me so bruised up. They didn't tell me what was wrong with me, how it happened, or if it will happen again. Most horrible experience I will NEVER go to this hospital again.
Had a wonderful experience with Labor & Delivery and Postpartum! Wonderful Nurses and Doctors! Very clean and private.
I loved being part of Baylor. It has lots of wonderful employees. But i didn't like that EVS was managed by an outside company. They had lots of changes and lost lots of good employees..
Not only grapevine, what people dont know is, if you visit a Dr. That have an office in the building, they send you a separate bill charging you for the use of their facility. So meaning just to walk in to the building to go to your Dr. I just received a bill for 96.23 for visit my neurologist, who has her office in the 3rd floor in Baylor in Dallas. Much improved under new Administrator. Had surgery there all went well. Gary suffered stroke and was given clot buster destroyed his brain sent him to UT he passes due to too much clot buster. This occurred in 2008 Every hospital have different specialties I believe Baylor is at this time a hospital I would refer family and friends. check to see if they are specialties for your situation. Will say a prayer,
The doctors and nurses on the third floor ICU have been AWESOME .. You couldn't ask for better service...
